1809 Capital

1809 Capital is a venture capital fund rooted in leveraging the extensive alumni network of Miami University. Focusing on Series A or higher startups with a Miami University connection, this fund channels investments to propel these burgeoning enterprises forward.

At 1809, I support the fund's general partners by crafting investment documents, devising an effective social media strategy, designing a polished website, and developing multiple apps in Coda, including 1809 Capital's CRM and Deal Flow Pipeline. Additionally, I have orchestrated successful branding events to propel the newly launched venture capital fund into the spotlight. I started as an intern during the San Francisco Digital Innovation Program in January 2022 and was promoted to full-time Venture Analyst when I graduated.

During my tenure at 1809 Capital, I spearheaded the redesign of our website, formulated our social media strategy, and significantly expanded our online presence—growing our LinkedIn followers from 50 to over 1000 and launching our Instagram account.
